Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and no credit card requirement. You get access to core features — account tracking, budgeting, and recurring bills — for as long as you want.
No. We set up two demo accounts with sample transactions when you sign up, so you can see how Thrifty Owl works right away instead of starting from a blank dashboard. They're free and don't count towards your account limit — delete them whenever you're ready to add your own.
Your data is always yours. If you downgrade to Free, your existing data remains intact. You'll simply lose access to Pro features going forward, but nothing is deleted.
Yes — all users, Free and Pro, can import their existing Microsoft Money file directly. CSV import and export aren't available yet, but they're on our roadmap.
Absolutely. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard authentication, and we never share or sell your data to third parties. Ever.
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. All payments are processed securely and we never store card details on our servers.
